EDUCATION, DISABILITY RIGHTS & ADVOCACY

This project provides a tangible legal resource specifically focused on the unique needs of people with developmental disabilities, their families and caregivers.  Responsiveness to emergent needs within the disability community and close collaboration with Council funded projects and stakeholders are a key component in the ultimate success of this work.

The organization fully involves individuals with disabilities, their families, caregivers, stakeholders drawn from the disability community, and existing and/or new collaborative networks to develop a series of Commonwealth-wide trainings focused on the unique and specific needs of families, caregivers and individuals with developmental disabilities.
